Modeled to resemble the layers of actual planets, chalk planet contains cores, layers and crusts, just like their real-life counterparts.

They are both beautiful and beneficial in helping young children increase fine motor skills and grip strength while encouraging imaginative and creative play.

Each box contains nine planets.  When broken apart or worn down, each piece resembles the inner core, outer core and everything in between.

The three large planets – Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter – have three colors inside representing the inner core, outer core and crust.  The six smaller planets – Mars, Earth, Venus, Neptune, Mercury and Pluto – have two colors representing the inner core and outer core.
